Welcome to Heidi & Hormonal Hilarities — a space for women who know that life isn’t perfect, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be extraordinary. Whether it’s surviving a “just woke up at 11am” kind of day, choosing kindness even when it’s hard, or simply finding joy in a dog’s wagging tail or a cat’s purr, you’re in the right place.
And yes, this is also for the brave men trying to navigate the beautiful chaos of the women they love — you deserve a medal (or at least a manual).
I started this blog because my brain won’t shut up. Somewhere between the hormonal rollercoaster, the teenage chaos, the animals demanding snacks every five minutes, and the mountain of mugs beside the bed, I realised I needed an outlet. There are approximately a bazillion thoughts running through my head at any given moment — some funny, some deep, and some that probably should’ve stayed in the drafts folder of my mind.
So, instead of letting them ping around in there like an out-of-control pinball machine, I decided to start writing them down. This blog is my attempt to make sense of the mess — to laugh at it, learn from it, and maybe help someone else feel a little less alone (or at least slightly more amused) in the chaos.
